Meet the maker

Eric (aka defcc)

Creator and maintainer of PaperMan

Hi, I’m Eric, also known online as defcc. I’m a software developer with over 25 years of experience building web applications and developer tools.

I was a Vue.js core team member during the Vue 2.x era, where I contributed to the framework’s development and maintenance. I created and maintain PaperMan, including its browser-based generators, featured printable resources, educational guides, and technical infrastructure.

Our purpose

Why PaperMan exists

Getting a clean sheet of graph paper should be straightforward. PaperMan was created to provide useful print-ready files without account registration, watermarks, or an unnecessarily complicated download process.

The site combines customizable browser-based generators with manually selected printable resources and practical guides. The goal is to help users understand what they are downloading and print it at the intended size.

Publishing standards

How resources are created and reviewed

01

Build for a real use

We create each generator or guide around a specific task, such as printing 5mm graph paper, plotting coordinates, or making a number chart. We do not republish third-party template downloads.

02

Check the page details

Before featuring a printable resource, we compare its title, paper size, orientation, spacing, preview, file name, and download link so the page describes what the user receives.

03

Review the print instructions

Files are designed for real paper dimensions, but printer software can resize them. We tell users to choose Actual size or 100% scale and print one test page before making multiple copies.

04

Correct what is wrong

If a link, label, guide, or generated file is incorrect, users can report it through our contact page. We review actionable reports and update the affected page or resource.

Privacy and limits

What users should know

Generator settings and document rendering are processed in the browser. PaperMan does not require an account and does not intentionally upload or store the paper designs users create. Hosting and security providers may still process standard request logs, as explained in our privacy policy .

PaperMan is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, printer manufacturers, or paper brands. Output can also vary with browser, PDF viewer, printer driver, paper, and print settings, so users should verify one test page when exact physical measurements matter.

Create a printable sheet

Choose the paper type and adjust its size, spacing, color, and margins in the browser.
