A3 provides twice the area of A4 while staying within the standard ISO A-series used for drawings, plans, and larger worksheets. This template contains eight concentric circles, 24 primary spokes, labeled angles, and 5° secondary intervals for plotting values by radius and direction.
With 14mm page margins, the polar grid has a 269 mm diameter and 134.5 mm maximum radius. The eight equal radial steps are approximately 16.8 mm apart.
A 15-degree polar grid provides finer primary sectors for precise vectors, trigonometric functions, physics diagrams, engineering plots, and circular data that needs closer angular readings.
The 15° primary sectors and degree labels support plotting polar ordered pairs, graphing trigonometric functions, and comparing radius-angle relationships.
Use the centered spokes and concentric circles for vector direction and magnitude, force diagrams, radiation patterns, phase plots, navigation, and rotational measurements.
A3 is suited to engineering sketches and larger diagrams. The centered circular grid leaves surrounding page space for labels, calculations, legends, and notes.
Both formats preserve the same angular structure and eight-circle radial scale. Choose A3 for engineering sketches and larger diagrams; choose Tabloid (11 x 17) when large handouts, plans, and presentation sheets is a better match for the printer or project.

The PDF is vector-based, but the stated radius and circle spacing are only preserved when the printer uses the correct paper and scale settings.
Load 297 x 420 mm paper and select A3 as the paper size in the print dialog.
Select Actual Size or 100% scale. Turn off Fit, Shrink, and Scale to Page options.
Keep the print dialog set to portrait so the centered polar grid is not rotated or reduced automatically.
Confirm the outer circle measures 269 mm horizontally and vertically. Equal measurements show that the circle has not been distorted.

Use 15-degree primary spokes when a 30-degree grid is too coarse. Twenty-four labeled sectors provide finer angular reference points for vectors, functions, and technical diagrams.
The labeled primary spokes are 15° apart. Fainter secondary spokes provide 5° secondary intervals, making intermediate angles easier to estimate without overpowering the main sectors.
Select A3 paper, use Actual Size or 100% scale, and disable Fit to Page. The outer circle should measure 269 mm in both directions.
Both orientations preserve the same centered circle diameter because the shorter page dimension sets the radius. Portrait leaves more room above and below; landscape leaves more room at the sides.
